If you don't need the Photosmart 7360's large touch screen, the D7160 is essentially the same printer with a smaller passive screen.

Plain paper printing is not its strong point, Photo prints lacked some detail and had problematic colours

Priced at $299, the D7360 is exceptionally easy to use and has the best software bundle in the business. But, its image quality is merely good, and plain-paper printing is clearly not its strong point.

The HP Photosmart D7360 offers a varied selection of features, great print quality, and fast text prints, but if you need fast photo prints, look elsewhere. Otherwise, this is a decent option for amateur photo hobbyists.

Fast text prints; low-cost text and photo printing; large touch-screen LCD is very responsive and easy to navigate; individual ink tanks mean less waste; dedicated 4x6 photo tray; built-in memory card slots and PictBridge port; ability to print stills...

Slow 4x6 photo prints; limited photo-enhancement options when printing PC-free; can't sort or print photos by date or range of dates; can't print bordered photos when printing without a PC

Hewlett-Packard has always been the leader in inkjet photo printers. We have always strongly recommended printers from HP because of their superior quality, design, and functionality. HP's latest desktop inkjet photo printer is their Photosmart D7360.
