Samsung CLX-3175N review

 

The cheapest colour laser printer here, Samsung's CLX-3175FN is also the smallest. Although it has a 10/100 Ethernet port, its small 150-sheet paper tray means that the CLX-3175FN is best used as a personal printer.

Samsung CLX-3175FN

 

The Samsung CLX-3175FN is small enough and cheap enough to serve as a personal color laser AIO.

Low price. Small. Prints, scans, and faxes over a network. Standalone fax machine, copier, and e-mail sender.

Although good enough for most business purposes, text quality is a touch below par for a laser.

A great machine which has many functions that I am still discovering. Good all round for printing scanning faxing. I cannot comment much as I have not had full use of it yet. Compact and not too noisy or slow like some I have worked with.

I have only had this printer 3 weeks and it will no longer print pictures from my laptop. I have windows 7. The printer is telling me it is an internal error. It gets stuck on sending info to the pc. Everything else prints OK.

Really good quality printing, after several years of inkjets. Quick and near silent in operation

The display can only be read from directly overhead. In my enforced location, it is impossible to except with a mirror and torch.

this is a small compact colour laser scanner/copier which means I now only have one item instead of 3 seperate ones It was so easy to instal,follow instructions and the samsung site installs everything for you.Considering price the colour is very good...

Installation was very simple - worked first time! For home use the speed is fine. Print quality is good but have not printed photographs on glossy paper yet but I anticipate it to be fine. Diagrams and graphs have come out in very good quality and...

For a busy office it may be considered slow. It does double sided printing but not automatically: you do need to manually feed the paper.
