Awesome projector

I have used this on two deployments, and also use it in my Mancave. I have replaced the bulb once and it has still preformed with no problems.

Efficent ; Long lasting bulb ; easy setup ; eco-mode

Got what I wanted

Newegg was very nice in upgrading the shipping method so as I could get it on time for the game. Sandy was very helpful.

Cheap. 2000 Lumens and at economy mode is still very bright. 4000 lamp hours at economy mode. High contrast ratio.

No component video port. You need to buy a component to 15 pin cable to be able to use your component port in your DVD. S-video port does not seem to be built in the standard specification as the cable that I connected was loose. I know its the...

can't beat it for the price.

OSD menu is very responsive. i hate waiting after button presses with remote controls, and i don't have to wait with this product. Though i wish the soft case was stronger, i do like the way the pockets/zippers are designed. It is very compact in transit.

4,000 hour lamp in economy mode!!! This makes it more effecient than most 2300ANSI and 2400ansi projectors that can only achieve 2k/3k hours. High contrast ratio. Fast setup, fast cooling. You just can't find a better projector at this price-point.

you really gotta look for the cons considering the cost to performance ratio in the MP610. i wish the soft case had more cushioning.

Bright Projector

Good quality projector at an affordable price. We installed this projector at a church as a "choir screen" at the back of the sanctuary, and it is well suited for this purpose, however during installation, we tested it at different throw distances and...

Very bright, easy setup, low noise

picture looks slightly pixelated at 15' throw distance, manual focus and zoom can be a problem if projector is ceiling mounted

Good projector

This is a upgrade from a 700 lumens lcd proxima. First off is much smaller and very quite. Great picture running it throught vga and computer playing dvd's. It scales it to xga. No rainbows.

Hooked to dish through s video cable so runs tv at svga. Is clearer than my old lcd but not much color seemed to be better with lcd. Have option to run HDTV so could get better tv but dish hdtv is expensive.

OK, but there are some issues...

I wish I spent a couple hundred bucks more. You get what you pay for. Picture quality is ok for the price.

It does not have component inputs. I have not found any cables that go component to DVI yet either. S-Video connector does not work well either. Any S-video cord I plug into it falls out unless I hold it or tape it.

I have used over 1,000 of my lamp hours and the porjector is still going strong and it still look as good as the day I got it.

Price is great and so is the picture, play my video games, movies and even watch tv. I love this thing. Also the price of the lamp is going down.

Product Specifications

Enjoy perfect colors with the MP610's unique color matching technology. The new generation golden ration color wheel balances true color saturation and maximizes color accuracy. There are no limitations when using the MP610. It captures rich, true-to-life spectrums for the greatest visual satisfaction. To ensure whisper quiet operation, BenQ adopts special airflow design to cool down the system temperature, which creates a very effective sound baffle. The last color wheel mounting technique in its turn enhances stability. Because of this combination, the BenQ MP610 reduces audible noise to just 25 dB, ensuring an undisturbed meeting environment.
