The Canon imageFormula DR-C225W document scanner can connect by Wi-Fi for network scanning and also lets you connect directly from mobile devices.

Duplex (two-sided) scanning. Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct. Fast text recognition for scanning to searchable PDF format. Excellent text-recognition accuracy.

Although business-card recognition is good enough to be useful, it's well short of excellent.

Conclusion If you don't need to scan over a network or scan to a mobile device, consider the Canon DR-C225, which costs significantly less and offers all the same features as the Canon imageFormula DR-C225W except for Wi-Fi. If you need Wi-Fi, however,...

The Canon imageFormula DR-C225 document scanner delivers fast scans with excellent text-recognition accuracy, and it comes with a highly useful collection of top-tier application programs.

Great character recognition, but only average scan quality for the price

Great character recognition, quite fast

Relatively poor scan quality for the price, particularly for color documents

The offers the best optical character recognition we tested, but otherwise it is outdone by other models in the same price range.

Fast scanning Small footprint Plug-ins for Dropbox and Evernote

Although the scan is fast it does then take quite a while to process the image. From a Mac perspective, the software bundle is minimalist and it took several attempts to get the disc to load.

Fast & accurate. Works very fast over the Wifi which was a doddle to setup. Has saved me hours of scanning individual pages on a flatbed scanner.

Perhaps it could be a bit cheaper, but it is solidly built, and has the quality that Canon is famous for.

My Clients LOVE this!!

 

I have been asked to order more after 2 days of use.It Doesn't get better than that folks!

FAST, it's easy to use. I have started migration for clients to go paperless and they needed a good tool without any hoop jumping to get the job done.
