Fitbit Charge 3 review: Fitbit's most refined Charge yet | Trusted Reviews

Fitbit Charge 3 review, price, features: An updated design and swimming features could make this the most exciting fitness band from Fitbit yet.

Attractive design ; Larger, sharper display ; Great battery life ; Well-presented app ; Water-resistant

Some might miss built-in GPS ; Still waiting to use the SpO2 sensor

The Fitbit Charge 3 corrects many of the shortcomings of its predecessor, making it one of the best fitness trackers for regular folk – even if you can find more feature-packed rivals.

Hands on: Fitbit Charge 3 review (early verdict): probably best in class… yet still weirdly uninspiring

Part band, part smartwatch, this is the Fitbit as we know it, perfected. Next time, could you bring some new ideas to the table please, guys?

Waterproof ; Cheap ; 7-day battery life ; Some mooted 'coming soon' features sound interesting ; All the key features of a smart watch (ie: notifications and paying for stuff)

No built-in GPS ; Hardly anyone supports Fitbit Pay contactless payments in the UK ; How many times can Fitbit keep putting out the same features in different-shaped devices?

Hands on: Fitbit Charge 3 review

A follow-up in Fitbit's most popular range

Refined design ; Extra smartwatch-like features

Just Connected GPS ; Fitbit Pay restricted to one model

The Fitbit Charge 3 doesn't bring any groundbreaking features that we haven't seen on a fitness tracker or smartwatch before, but it's a more refined package, cheaper than the last one and looks to be a solid activity band.

Fitbit Charge 3 review

Fitbit's latest wearable is part fitness tracker, part smartwatch. Building on the Fitbit Charge 2, the Charge 3 has a sleeker look and more capabilities, for $150. We take a closer look at what the Charge 3 has to offer once it's strapped to your wrist.

Lightweight case, stylish design ; Offers smartphone notifications ; Excellent battery life ; Touchscreen display ; Interchangeable watch straps

Not fully compatible with iOS ; No built-in GPS ; Touchscreen slightly unresponsive

The Fitbit Charge 3 is a comfortable and sleek fitness tracker, that also brings smartwatch notifications to your wrist and packs a battery that keeps the device going for almost a week. Its heart rate and in-depth fitness tracking capabilities make it...

I love it!

It really is everything. I use it to track my exercise and sleep. I like the silent alarm a lot. It's especially handy at work when I can't have my phone in my hand. I take it off only when I shower and thats the time I use to charge it (if needed). I...
