The Polar Pacer Pro is pitched at runners, but it's definitely a multi-sport watch that will appeal to swimmers, cyclists and triathletes too.

The Pacer Pro feels familiar and reliable but Polar needs to try harder if it wants to keep up with the ever-increasing competition

Screen is visible in broad daylight ; GPS picks up comparatively fast ; All the tests from the Vantage V2 are present (minus the Orthostatic test) ; New Walking test is unique to the brand ; Works well as a cheap(ish) multisport watch

Offering some of Polar's best features in a more compact design, is the Pacer Pro a smart sports watch to buy?

Comfortable to wear ; Reliable sports tracking features ; Includes features like FuelWise and turn-by-turn guidance

Screen feels dated and small ; Battery life not amazing ; Not the most exciting design

The Polar Pacer Pro is a strong-performing sports watch at a good price that offers some of Polar’s best features and puts those in a design that makes it ideal for getting sweaty with.
