Bluesound Pulse Soundbar 2i Review | Trusted Reviews

Bluesound Pulse Soundbar 2i review: lots to love about this soundbar-cum-system - and there's lots of it to love.

Extensive specification ; Multi-room ability ; Full, rich and high-calorie sound

Quite a visual statement ; Short of outright dynamic headroom ; Control app is quite easily confused

Lots to love about this soundbar-cum-system – and there’s lots of it to love, too

Bluesound Pulse Soundbar

Part of Bluesound's multiroom speaker family, the Pulse Soundbar is designed to be the centrepiece of your system. Not only does it amplify audio from flat-panel TVs, but it can also stream hi-res music in glorious 192kHz/24-bit quality.

Bluesound Pulse review

The Bluesound Pulse is a great choice for audiophiles with high-resolution audio support but its app isn't the most elegant

To set up the Pulse you can either use the PC or Mac applications or the iOS or Android apps. As the configuration is actually browser-based, you can actually set up the Pulse using any web browser by first connecting to the Pulse’s Wi-Fi network and...

Bluesound Pulse 2i Wireless Speaker Review

We've already established that Bluesound has some of the best operating software in the business but how does this translate to an all in one speaker?

Excellent operating system with excellent spec ; Sounds big and confident ; Very well made

Quite expensive ; Not terribly pretty ; Stiff competition

Bluesound Pulse Soundbar Review

Bluesound claim their new Pulse soundbar can deliver a big sound without resorting to a subwoofer, as well multiroom functionality thanks to BluOS and...

Excellent sound quality ; Hi-res audio and MQA support ; Effective control app ; Multiroom capabilities ; Fantastic build quality ; Nice looking design

No HDMI inputs/outputs ; Bass could be deeper ; No dedicated remote control ; Quite expensive

The Bluesound Pulse is an impressive soundbar that achieves its goal of delivering a superior level of sound quality. The unit itself is quite large, which means it can use decent speakers that are able to deliver a wide and detailed soundstage but,...

Bluesound Pulse High-Res SoundBar Review

Bluesound's Pulse Soundbar is priced at $1,000 and comes with matched pairs of tweeters, midrange, and woofers and it provides a unique listening experience that you truly must hear to appreciate.

Sleek Design ; High-Res Sound Quality ; Quick Setup ; Audio Range and Output

No Remote Control ; A Bit Tall Making it More Challenging to Place under an HDTV ; No Surround Sound Decoding or Processing

It's all about the software

I have three Bluesound units now with two more on order. The Pulse2i is roughly equivalent to the Sonos Play 5 it replaces and for me it is nearly perfect. The sound is amazing but I haven't pushed it yet as my Vault 2i is on order and my plan is to...

Bluesound Pulse Soundbar 2i Black

Unbelievable sound, so glad I went way over budget to buy this. Please please go and listen to one of these before deciding which sound bar to buy, you'll be amazed. The Richer sound staff, in particular Ben & Jason were very helpful as always.
