It's lovely to use, but the Denon's unremarkable sound failed to ignite our interest

Smooth, balanced sound ; No hard or bright edges ; Decent spread of sound ; Easy to use ; Good build and remote control

Needs more dynamic subtlety and excitement ; Not the clearest or punchiest listen ; Rivals are far more insightful

Denon's answer to the question of improving your TVs audio without having speakers taking up more room proves a very competent first effort.

Neat and tidy ; Nice remote ; Bright & Engaging sound ; Reasonably deep bass ; Good DSP modes ; Remote command learning

Denon DHT-T100 TV Speaker Base

Denon's under-TV sound base offers strong Bluetooth support and respectable sound, but cannot deliver any deep bass.

Easy installation. Excellent Bluetooth connectivity. Reasonably sound quality. Some interesting surround effect on movies.

Limited bass. No ability to add a subwoofer. Had to program the unit to its own remote to get it working.

The Denon DHT-T100 is a sound base that goes underneath your TV, offers strong Bluetooth support and respectable sound, but cannot deliver any deep bass.
