Acer Iconia One 7 review

A well known contender re-enters the double-digit tablet market

Budget price ; Capable quad-core processor ; Near-stock Android KitKat ; MicroSD storage ; Bright screen

Very poor build quality ; Awful camera ; Screen Resolution could be higher ; Far too much bloatware ; Distinctly average speaker

The Iconia One 7 offers strong processing for a great price. But with a terrible camera, an excess of bloatwear and terrible build quality, there are plenty of better choices out there.

Acer Iconia One 7 B1-750 review

The Acer Iconia One 7 is fast for its price and has a decent screen, but disappointing build quality and battery life

The Acer Iconia One 7 has a great specification and fast internals, but its build quality is so sub-par that we simply can't recommend it. It also has a smaller, less detailed screen than its rivals and its battery life is one of the worst we've seen...

Acer Iconia One 7 (BT-750) Review

What do you look for in an affordable tablet? Acer's hoping the Iconia One 7 has the power to wow you with its £100 price tag and host of unique apps.

Affordable ; MicroSD expandable ; Available in a range of colours

Loaded with bloatware ; Disappointing battery life ; No 3G/4G option

It’s the classic case of a low price tag absolving this tablet of its many flaws and weaknesses, but whilst it’s certainly not the worst slate on the market, there are better offerings that don’t require that you fork out hundreds more in cash; namely the

Acer Iconia One 7 review

Simple and forgettable is the story of Acer's Iconia One 7. In fact, it's almost as if Acer took it out of a time capsule from 2012.

The Acer Iconia One 7 starts at $130 and has a micro-SD card expansion slot.

The thick design is outdated, its plastic build feels filmsy, and the screen's range of color is underwhelming.

If you're on tightest of budgets, the Acer Iconia One 7 will meet your needs for very casual use, but don't expect more than that.

The Acer Iconia One 7 immediately grabs your attention thanks to its astonishingly cheap price point. Does it have the usability, power and screen quality to make it worth a purchase, though? Read the full review to find out.

Acer Iconia One 7 (B1-780-K610)

The Acer Iconia One 7 is a very affordable Android tablet with a nice display, but some performance issues hold it back.

Affordable. Lightweight. Solid display. Google Play Store access. Good parental controls.

Slow performance. Lots of bloatware. Middling Wi-Fi range.

The $80 Acer Iconia One 7 is an affordable multimedia tablet that tries to take on offerings from Amazon, but falls short. Despite its fairly nice screen and ability to download apps from Google Play, the One 7 is held back by lackluster performance....
