How good can a £70 tablet be?

Solid and reliable ; Good screen for the price ; Pure Android

Some stutters in use ; Poor battery life

A competent ultra-cheap tablet, but there are better ones if you can find the best deals.

Hisense Sero 8 Pro: Affordable Android tablet, fantastic screen [review]

With tablets it's usually true that you get what you pay for. The more you can afford to spend on a device, the better the product you'll end up with. That said, there are some decent, very affordable tablets available. Take the new

While there are definite shortcomings with the Sero 8 Pro, it’s hard to fault a tablet that offers such a great screen for such a reasonable price. If you intend to use it mostly for media consumption, then you’ll likely have very few complaints.

Brilliant for the price!

Bought for my elderly mother. She only uses a few apps and some of them are not compatible with this device

Great value for money. This was to replace a child's tablet that previously cost a similar amount but was much poorer quality.

Battery power is fine for normal use but with the constant attention of a small enquiring mind it can often require charging once or twice a day.

Good size, brilliant screen, fast. Feels like a quality product. At under 50 quid it should be rubbish but it's great. I got this for my wife now I want one. It's so much better than my Nexus 7

Bespoke cases are difficult to find in the UK. I got one on Ebay from the US.
