Toshiba AT200

The thinnest 10.1 Android tablet there is. But thin-ness isn't everything...

Very light ; Good connectivity ; Expandable memory

Disappointing screen ; Uses Honeycomb, not ICS ; Limited video support

All the Toshiba AT200's physical buttons and controls sit on the right edge. These are all standard - volume up/down, power - aside from the little multi-function slider switch. This will either turn silent mode on and off, or act as an orientation...

Toshiba AT200 review

The Toshiba AT200 takes everything we like in an Android tablet – excellent screen, impressive connectivity and Flash browser - and trims it down to 7.7mm

Very thin, very light build ; MicroSD compatibility ; Browser supports Flash

Fiddly buttons ; Grainy camera

Toshiba’s AT200 tablet is a much better device than the earlier Toshiba AT100 and an excellent example of a portable and well-built Android machine. Both its 7.7mm slimness and 520g weight are excellent reasons to recommend this tablet but in truth we...

Toshiba AT-200

Pocket-lint regulars might remember that we reviewed the Toshiba AT100 and utterly despised its cheap and nasty design and uninspired features. Happily, then, the firm has just started to sell its new and much-updated version of the tablet. The AT200,...

Nice design, good screen, good connectivity

Toshiba still phoning it in, that horrible dock connector and power adaptor are annoying, too expensive, virtually no added value, DLNA app is a disgrace

The AT-200 is a much better tablet than its predecessor the 100. We actually felt impressed when we lifted it out of the box and held it for the first time.

Toshiba AT200 review

If the most important feature of a tablet is that it's thin, then Toshiba just made one that's a must buy. The 10.1in AT200 is 7.7mm thick and weighs just 535g. That makes it slimmer and lighter than an iPad 2 (8.8mm, 601g), a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1...

Toshiba AT200 pictures and hands-on - Pocket-lint

Over in Berlin at IFA, Toshiba has been walking round with its chest fully pumped out, telling anyone who'll listen that it's got the skinniest tab in

Toshiba AT200 review

Can the world's thinnest tablet pack a heavyweight punch?

Slim build ; Lightweight ; Lots of ports ; Full HD video recording

No bundled cables ; No ICS out of the box ; Screen could be brighter ; Wi-Fi only, no 3G

The Toshiba AT200 (originally known as the Toshiba Excite) flaunts itself as the world's thinnest tablet, and it's the follow up to the Toshiba AT100, which scored 3/5 in our review back in August of last year.

Toshiba AT200 review

Toshiba has taken another stab at the tablet market with the Toshiba AT200, the follow-up device to the Toshiba AT100. Overall the tablet has a lot going for it including a unique design but is spoiled by poor software.

Toshiba has done a good job with the AT200. The tablet looks fantastic with is sleek metal case and thin and light design. We enjoyed good battery life and connectivity but the device was a let-down in key areas. While performance was good on the...

In summary, then, the Toshiba AT200 looks good, though the screen has an issue, and its performance is good, but not great. We do like the thin and light ambitions though – have another go, Toshiba, and you might wow us yet!
