LG OLED55B7V

LG OLED55B7V review: this TV was already great in 2017, but in now it's half the price, which makes it an absolute bargain.

Excellent blacks and contrast ; Improved shadow detailing ; Vibrant yet accurate colours ; Supremely low input lag

Imperfect motion processing for interlaced broadcast ; Peak brightness insufficient for impactful HDR

The LG OLED55B7V is bettered in performance terms by most of LG’s 2018 OLED models. However, the fact that you can now get a 55-inch B7 for just £1300 makes it arguably the biggest bargain of this or any other TV season.

LG OLED B7 (OLED55B7V) review

This mid-range OLED has all your HDR needs covered

Excellent all-round image quality ; Elegant design ; HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision support ; Great smart platform

Monophonic onboard audio ; No Dolby Atmos passthrough for Dolby TrueHD ; Silver bezel can distract

LG hits the sweet spot with the B7. For a mid-range price you get a high brightness OLED panel in a stylish design, offering immersive 2160p image quality. With support for all three key HDR formats catered for, plus Freeview Play, it’s an easy set to...

LG OLED55B7V review

The most affordable 2017 LG OLED is also the pick of the range

Awesome OLED picture ; Natural presentation ; Supports all HDR formats ; Neat, unfussy design ; Great for gaming

Sony A1 is a punchier performer

The B7 (along with its twin, the C7) is the sweetest spot of LG’s 2017 OLEDs and a great premium choice

LG OLED B7 review: An OLED superstar

The LG OLED B7 is a magnificent TV, an absolute joy to watch and in this 55-inch size, it's extraordinarily tempting.

Wonderful blacks and excellent contrast ; Boosted brightness means better HDR performance than 2016 model ; Dolby Vision and Atmos support ; Rich visuals ; WebOS is a joy to use

Dolby Atmos support still in infancy and speakers don't really deliver it in its truest form ; Rear design could be refined a little more

With the same panel and support in this OLED B7 model as the far pricier G model, there's no denying the rich picture qualiy of the B7 make it easy to fall for.

LG OLED55B7V (B7 OLED) review: Another brilliant OLED TV from LG

LG has refined its OLED TV family for 2017 – and the OLED55B7V doesn't put a pixel wrong

Perfect blacks and infinite contrast ; Supports four different HDR formats ; Extremely low latency for gaming

Motion hiccups on interlaced video ; Limited peak brightness for HDR ; Dolby Atmos decoder doesn't support True HD

As hard as it is to believe, LG has actually found ways to improve the already awesome picture quality on last year's OLEDs. At £3,000, the OLED55B7V is by no means cheap, but if you’re looking for the best all-around performance there is, then this...

LG B7 series, its cheapest OLED TVs, will match picture quality of its most expensive

OLED TVs from LG deliver the best image quality we've ever tested, and in 2017 that picture gets even better. Now we just have to wait for pricing.

LG B7 OLED review

B7 is LG's most affordable OLED but it still offers 4K, HDR, webOS, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. That sounds like a recipe for success. So, is it? Read our review

LG B7 OLED received
