Samsung UE55JU6400 review

Ultra HD 4k on a budget, with a Tizen-driven Smart Hub for company – but no 3D

Smart TV interface ; 4k sharpness ; Colour ; Digital media handling ; Smart View 2.0 app

Slow to navigate ; Lacks 3D mode ; Tight viewing angle ; Black levels unconvincing ; Wacky Sports mode

It's got awesome 4k sharpness, pin-sharp graphics, a great new smart TV platform, and versatile video, but Samsung's entry-level 2D Ultra HD TV's high price and alarming lack of processing power for its internal menus blot its copybook.

Samsung's 40-inch JU6400 Ultra HD 4K TV is flat. Not a curve in sight. But is a 40-inch screen size too small for 4K resolution?
