Sharp LC-48LE551U

The Sharp LE551U series of LED HDTVs offers a strong picture and a surprisingly friendly price tag for such a large panel.

Accurate colors. Solid shadow and highlight detail.

Colors run slightly cool and aren't particularly vivid out of the box. No online features.

Power and Conclusion For a 48-inch LED HDTV, the 48LE551U is a modest power consumer. Under normal viewing conditions, it uses 84 watts of power. With the Energy Star mode enabled, that number dips to 66 watts.
