Ease of use and length of washing cycles compared with a previous machine

Large drum; silent wash; quiet, quick spin. Clothes come out almost dry.

The high temperature washes last over 2 hours. However, I was aware of this before purchase.

The steam function is great, clothes are softer, easier to iron and less creases

The cycles for various washes are much longer than previous machines I have had. I assume this is because of it's high A rating

AEG has held it's reputation as a sturdy well built machine. 10KG is a good size, I can wash a double duvet in it. Easy to use

It says the wash cycle will take 56 minutes and it takes 1hr 20 Would like something between the synthetics cycle (above timing) and the 20 minute, the 20 min one is for lightly soiled clothes & small loads, say 45 mins.
