Not good

This is a low water usage model, but the usage is so low it doesn't wash or rinse adequately. We are country and red soil, but nevertheless I always give an extra rinse, and sometimes more than one, to get cleaner water and less suds. I collect the...

3 years of Service, Good machine

ssue i have experienced was the counterweight on top of the drum came loose and made a hell of a racket on spin. That was a simple fix though, took off the top (2 screws), and tightened down the 2 nuts that held it on (with a dob of locktite), fixed....

Cheap, lots of cycles including rapid ones (39 min), works a charm and sofar, reliable.

Bit noisy on high rpm spins, counterweight came loose and made a bad rattle (easy fix $0)

Disappointed with Bosch

We have always had Bosch white goods and I am really disappointed that my Maxx Lifestyle washer has broken 3-4 years after purchase. A repairer has been out this morning to say that the inner drum has completely split and that it is not worth...

Quiet, washed well

Expensive, now not sure about its reliability

Not very good

This machine was working fine for 3 years, then one day decided to play up. It would not drain the water, start the timer again, and the timer wouldn't count down. When it was working it wasn't really the quietest machine. Definitely a big mistake...

Cost, just out side warranty and now broken

Stay away from this product

if they were made in Germany they were okay but from Thailand, you might as well just buy another brand like May tag. Been with-out the Machine for two weeks, I just want to know could it be a bearing or just not put in tight. Phoned Ace Oven Repairs &...

A great product!

This was our first "name brand" washing machine and it has just been great! I love all the functions on it and its regular wash cycle isnt too long but does the job right and then there is a 15 min wash option for those days when you are in a hurry. I...

The overall look, the functions, a pretty good energy rating, quiet.

No warning beep when the cycle is finished

OK

WAE24271AU - Bought the this machine in Oct 2010, costing $790. Was fairly happy with the buy until yesterday 30/01/11. ; The last machine was awful, 'Maytag Atlantis'. Anything would have been a delight. ; The express wash is very useful and dark...

The components inside the door have failed. The latch goes straight into a black hole and having looked at other front loaders in Harvey Norman, I can see that other manufacturers have better secured the components inside where the door latch is pushed...

Bad

This is an update to my original review I posted about a year ago when we bought this model. By purchasing a Bosch I thought I was buying something that wouldn't break down anytime soon! An LG or Samsung probably would have been a more reliable purchase!

Been happy with my 20261AU model so far (up until now). Happy with the variety of cycles and the fact that it tells you how long before the cycle finishes.

Well it died after just over a year's use (average 2-3 washes per week). I went to switch it on, everything appeared normal however none of the buttons would work. I switched it off and back on and nothing...completely dead. Currently waiting on a call...

Terrible

Cons Very disappointed!! I have always bought Bosch appliances and have been very happy until I bought the Bosch Maxx. After 3 years it has stopped drawing water and technician says board & motor have both gone. When the technician looked at it he said...

Expensive and working (but incorrectly) until the warranty expired & now I have to throw it away
