I bought the compact Bosch Axxis pair to replace my super capacity Frigidaire stacking washer/dryer. Whereas my old washer would simply "refresh" the clothes with the stains still on them, my Bosch actually washes them clean! I used to spend 1 hour ...

Great washer and dryer pair

 

Purchased this pair as a replacement for my 10+ year old Meile 24" washer. Meile had served us well but was beginning to leak around the door so we wanted to replace it before total failure. (caused by bad storage on my part)

Wear Ear Protection

 

Let me first say the I buy washer/dryers like people buy groceries. It's a hobby.. The only major US brands of front load washer I have not owned are Electrolux, Whirlpool and Maytag. I've owned Frigidare/GE, Miele, Asko, LG, Samsung and Kenmore. So...

nice tube capacity, LOVE the soak cycle

Unobtrusive compact cleaning

 

My WAS24460UC was installed just over a week ago so I can't speak to durability yet. I previously owned a full size LG front loading washer and matching dryer.

Fast spin, able to heat water, quiet, German built

Modest capacity, not available in colors, expensive, no gas dryer option
