Assassin's Creed II (Xbox 360, PS3) review

History has a funny habit of repeating itself. The original Assassin's Creed was a near perfect example of videogame marketing done absolutely right. An example of how the hype-machine can be used to take a fairly average action game and sell it to...

To say the least, Assassin's Creed II is a disappointment - not because it's bad, but because we were promised so much more. Everything Ubisoft claimed they were changing has stayed the same, and what little new touches they've included fail to impact...

Assassin's Creed 2

I'm not sure at which point we turned as a society to get to the point where playing a game about assassinating people was cool. When you think about it, that's actually pretty dark. Oh well, glad it did at any rate, the sequel's finally here and ready...

Assassin's Creed II - Review

I find the new side quests are more part of the story and not some random side addition and yes Ezio is a better character. I also love the story continuation from the first at the start which helps you have more interest into what you are actually doing.

Assassin’s Creed II - Review

Following up on the success of the original title, Ubisoft has released Assassin's Creed II and, quite frankly, it is what all sequels should aspire to. The original Assassin's Creed was very devisive with some people loving it and others complaining...

Yeah, it's that prick from Creed.

The game does have a few nice gameplay twists and set-pieces to keep you interested and is genuinely a tremendous game. I still can’t help wishing that it’d stop worrying about being so slick and would add a bit more variation but it’s a genuine...

Assassin's Creed 2

More blood, violence and a better storyline makes this better than its predecessor in every aspect.

In conclusion, Assassin's Creed II improves from its predecessor by improving on the minor gameplay aspects that we believed never needed improvement, as well as adding a massive variety of options that makes the gamer feel as if he is in total...

Assassin's Creed II (2009)

One sure sign of a great videogame is if you turn off your console, but still feel as if you're living inside the virtual world you've been exploring. And after 10 minutes free-running across the crumbling rooftops of ancient Venice in Assassin's Creed...

Assassin's Creed II

The original Assassin's Creed was one of 2007's most divisive releases, both critics and players conflicting over the title's merits. Like 2008 debutant Mirror's Edge, everyone was enamoured of the game's unique visual flair, unusual premise, and...

Assassin's Creed III Review

Over the years, the Assassin's Creed franchise has grown into a comfortable groove, one players have come to appreciate, whether they're high-diving on someone to bury a hand blade in their neck or battling a group of soldiers with fancy sword play....

Not to mention the listening activities. There are times you're forced to get close to particular targets and listen in on what they're speaking about, while remaining in cover. Sometimes it's easy, but other times, whether you're hiding in the grass...

Assassin's Creed 3 puts you in the middle of a fascinating period of history and makes you feel like you could reach out and touch it - but is it a revolution for the series?
