Nothing Phone (2) review: everything you could want and more

The Nothing Phone sequel is a sensation that gets the basics right and adds a dollop of fun along the way too

Refined & lightweight design with unique aesthetic ; Distinctive software visuals & features ; Glyph lights aren't just a gimmick ; Strong performance & battery life

Cameras won't outsmart Google Pixel ; Glyph lights won't be for everyone ; Price jump over original Phone (1)

The Nothing Phone (2) impresses threefold: first it's so comfortable to hold and use, with a distinctive design; two, the improvements to everyday essentials, such as battery life and screen quality, are a real mark of quality; third, it adds a dollop...

Nothing phone (2) review: The tricky second album

Nothing is back with its second-gen phone, and this time it has big plans. These are my first impressions of the new Nothing phone.

Great design with Glyph Interface ; Plenty of power ; Some nice OS tweaks

Camera performance not great ; Display autobrightness a bit dull

Bigger, bolder and more ambitious, the Nothing phone (2) has been revised and refined in its second-gen, designed to appeal to more buyers, although the camera still lags behind.

Nothing Phone 2 review: superlative sequel

By taking all the bits we liked about Phone 1 and streamlining the experience, the Nothing Phone 2 is a very slick successor

Refines everything that Made Phone 1 so fun ; Dependable performance and battery life ; Streamlined software puts a fresh spin on the Android home screen

Rivals still hold the crown for photography ; Not such great value in certain territories

A beautiful big-screen blower with unique style and plenty of substance. Rivals have it beat in one or two areas, but none have Phone 2’s charm.

Nothing Phone (2) review: Nothing but improved | Expert Reviews

The fun-filled Nothing Phone (2) stands out among the flagship crowd but some improvements could still be made

Nothing Phone (2) review: Not just another flashy phone

The new Nothing Phone (2) not only comes with a better processor in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, but the Glyph Interface is also improved and much more functional than before. #nothing #phone2 #smartphone

Upgraded to a flagship chip (albeit older) ; More functionality for Glyph Interface ; Excellent battery life ; Still under S$1,000

Camera software processing can be overdone ; Might need to reach to access fingerprint scanner ; Can get warm with intense use

The TL;DR verdict: Nothing listened to its fanbase. The important changes made Phone (2) more powerful and useful while keeping the price under S$1,000.

Nothing Phone 2 review: the new phone to beat in 2023

Never heard of Nothing? That's about to change, because the excellent Nothing Phone 2 deserves everyone's attention. It really is that good.

Great, modern design Glyph lights are cool and useful Clean, yet customizable software Excellent daytime camera Colorful screen

Only IP54 water resistance Poor lowlight camera performance

“The Nothing Phone 2's eye-catching design and cool Glyph lights are just the beginning, as the screen, performance, and camera all impress too.”

Nothing Phone (2) review

The Nothing Phone (2) premieres one year after the first Nothing phone, and it is shaping as an amazing sequel offering enough relevant upgrades - an...

Unique glass design with Glyph UI, IP54-rated.

No high refresh rate gaming; some GPU throttling may occur.

But if you do, or you just want a breath of fresh air, an innovation of sorts in an otherwise boring market, the Nothing Phone (2), or (1), will not disappoint you. On the contrary, the Phone (2) offers a thoughtful pick of features with a pinch of...

Nothing Phone (2) Review

Premium feel ; Unique Glyph light system ; Snappy performance

Poor camera quality ; Glyph lights can be distracting

Trying to be more intentional in how you use your phone? The Nothing Phone (2) will have a certain appeal, thanks to its slick software and Glyph indicator lights. But its mediocre camera may be a deal-breaker.

Review: Nothing Phone (2)

This new Android phone has a unique interface and an array of LEDs on the back for notifications. And its $599 price makes it a welcome entry into the midrange US market.

Super smooth performance. Lovely screen. Good battery life. Slick and well-designed software with nifty features. Three Android OS upgrades and four years of security updates. Glyph lights are more useful (and fun) but still mostly gimmicky. Includes...

The Pixel 7A is cheaper and has better cameras. Lots of chromatic aberration. Not supported on Verizon. Only IP54 water resistant.
