Originally 1.1, but is 2.0 capable with a fairly recent firmware update. Bitstreams all of the lossless codecs. Region Free. Plays HD DVD, BD, CD, DVD, AVCHD, and MP3. Fairly quick load times

Stretches 4:3 DVDs to 16:9. Lack of DVD-A and SACD support. Rare half second audio dropouts (have become less frequent with additional FW updates). Large and heavy
