Consumer review (newegg.com)

Very good value

Slower to load that regular DVD players but not objectionable. I was expecting it and it was actually better than I was willing to put up with.

Plays Blu-Ray discs great but almost all do. Plays regular DVDs as good as the best DVD players so all your old movies are safe and you don't need to keep both. It outputs to all video and audio outputs at all times so it can drive more than one TV...

Some of the navigation is less than intuitive and was hard to learn plus the manual is nearly useless. Missing a few controls that I liked on regular DVD players, like a quick repeat that backs up 10 or 15 seconds and can not remember where you left...

Really SLOW!!! Remote is horrible. Just returned it to Costco.

I would not recommend this product to anyone. Many of the important funcions are buried in nested menus that are needlessly complicated to navigate
