Panasonic VDR-M75 review: Panasonic VDR-M75

Panasonic VDR-M75

Easy to operate; AC adapter can charge batteries; decent instruction manual; accessory shoe; less expensive than most DVD camcorders.

Mediocre video quality; very few manual controls; some buttons are poorly designed; no video light; DVD-RAM media creates playback headaches; poor menus on finalized DVDs.

Although Panasonic has produced one solid MiniDV camcorder after another, the feature-strapped, DVD-based VDR-M75 just doesn't measure up.

Panasonic VDR-M75 First Impressions Camcorder Review - Panasonic DVD Camcorders

The VDR-M75 was the middle child of the three Panasonic DVD camcorders introduced this year at CES. Not much progression has occurred between this model and last year's VDR-M70; both seemingly share the same 10x optical zoom lens with a 1/4 inch, 1.0...
