Keurig 2.0 is an underwhelming sequel

With an overly restrictive business strategy, Keurig's new coffeemaker might be a shark-jumper.

The Keurig K500 offers the new option of brewing a whole pot of coffee at the touch of a button. It's easy to use, and also one of the quietest single-serving coffeemakers that we've tested.

The K500 uses a scanner to lock out bargain-branded cups, as well as reusable cups and even some of Keurig's own Vue Packs.

With fewer brands to choose from, Keurig 2.0 is more restrictive than the last generation, and the K500 doesn't do much to make up for it. As upgrades go, this one doesn't make sense.

Worst single shot coffee maker ever made

I used this coffee maker for two weeks and the coffee drip went from painfully slow to impossibly slow. Yes, I tried the paper clip routine, but that did nothing to improve the result. And by the way, who would pay $150 to do have a maintenance chore...

Good size water tank

Slow!!

Over-priced kitchen decoration

After our old Keurig broke, my wife got the new Keurig 2.0, K560. I set the thing thing up only to find I could not brew what we had. Not only is the 2.0 more restrictive, Keurig tries to hide the fact from you. Although the box had "works only with...

Very little choice

There is nothing good about limited options.

I have enjoyed my Keurig coffee maker for years. This new version is an abomination and I can't wait for it to go the way of "Coke 2", the Edsel and other terrible product decisions.

Nothing

Poorly conceived attempt to limit choice.
