Melitta's 10-Cup Thermal Coffeemaker drips a bitter brew

 

For $69, the Melitta 10-Cup Thermal might seem like a coffee maker bargain, but its brew is far too bitter and weak.

Priced at a budget-minded $69, the Melitta 10-Cup Thermal Coffeemaker offers automatic drip coffee when you need it and a vacuum-sealed carafe to keep it hot for hours.

The 10-Cup Thermal Coffeemaker takes a long time to brew, and what it produces is bitter, not rich or smooth. The Melitta's water indicator is tricky to read, and its plastic parts feel flimsy, not high quality.

While the Melitta 10-Cup Thermal Coffeemaker is a cheap way to get your morning Joe in a thermal carafe, its bitter brew makes it hard to recommend.

Overall it is good. Brews fast. The coffee is hot. Brew Performance Very good, has 2 brewing tastes, regular, bold and robust. Ease of Cleaning No problem with cleaning. The top come off of the pot completely so you can get inside for a good cleaning....
