Better than it's more expensive kin

Bought this model after 3 years of more expensive Sonicare brushes that were good - until they stopped working, in two instances befor the guarantee period was up. These were replaced without question, but the 3rd was out of warranty. Despite this, I...

Great toothbrush but won't last long

  (Rating Hidden)

We've had around six of these brushes and they only ever last about one year. They have a two-year guarantee so you will get another one if it breaks but you need to go through that hassle (it's best to go through John Lewis for that reason.) The only...

Loved this toothbrush once I got used to it and on visiting the hygienist she remarked how much freer of plaque my teeth were. However, after about 10 months started having problems with toothbrush head not staying on handle. Tried new heads but same...

Great Toothbrush

  (Rating Hidden)

Excellent electric toothbrush. Best I've ever had. I've had mine for 4 years, and never had any problems with it. In fact, my hygienist is now complimenting me with the excellent standard of my teeth. Quite exceptional for a 69 year old pensioner!

I found this toothbrush so noisy that a sent it back to Philips because I assumed it was faulty. However the replacement is just as bad - a fairly high pitched noise which is so unpleasant I won't be using the brush - what a waste of money.

Iffy charger

  (Rating Hidden)

A great toothbrush when it was working. But suddenly, just outside the warranty period, the charger stopped working. This seems to be a consistent issue in the reports above and one might think that Philllips could have resolved it.

disappointed

It cleans well but it is not built to last. I have now had three and all have failed before the guarantee had expired.

Impressed

I like using this brush but on the advise of my hygienist I have switched to the more expensive diamond brushes. Other friends have also been given that advice by their dentists. Mine went wrong 2 days before the end of its 2 year warranty. I called...
