The AcerPower 1000 is an excellent system housed in a compact and quiet body, and should enjoy wide appeal.

Deployed 10 company-wide. Five are now bricks, all of them just outside of warranty. One was a mere WEEK after warranty and Acer said GOOD-BYE.

DO NOT BUY THIS. Got mine with 2Gb upgraded RAM.

Fan is INSANELY NOISY!!!!! I keep it in my living room downstairs (as a media center PC) and after about an hour of use, the fan kicks into high gear and I can hear it upstairs in my office with the door shut! Very poor cooling design.

Small, looks nice in media center setup.

Too darn loud. Shuts down after a 5-6 hours of use due to heat even if it is extremely well ventilated.
