Acer Aspire X3400 review

Part of the reason for the Acer system's low cost is its triple-core AMD Athlon II X3 435 processor, clocked at 2.9GHz. There is 3GB DDR3 memory and a 640GB hard drive.

The Acer Aspire X3400 is reasonably well blessed in terms of features and performance. It could use a little more storage capacity, but the the X3400 is very well priced. The X3400 also beats the only even cheaper category of desktop PCs: compact...

Acer Aspire AX3400-U2012

The Acer Aspire AX3400-U1202 is a small form factor (SFF) desktop PC that has more power than a compact nettop, and is priced competitively.

Acer Aspire X3400

At first glance, you might notice a similarity between the $450 Acer Aspire X3400 and the $600 Gateway SX2311-03 budget desktop (prices as of September 24, 2010). But even though both budget desktops have comparably modest dimensions and a certain...

Great price-to-performance ratio ; Large number of USB ports for external connections

Internal construction limits upgrades ; External connection options lack diversity

Acer's inexpensive Aspire X3400 makes a strong showing for a reasonable price.

Acer Aspire X3400 X2-220 3GB 640GB

Very good system - quite and fast. smaller than expected and therefore has been placed in a different location to intended

Keyboard and mouse are rubbish as they are old connections (PS2??) rather then USB or wireless. Will not use them but will use the wireless keyboard and mouse from my old PC
