Acer Revo 3600 1G 160GB Linux

size and design good 3D graphics performance for the size, low power consumption, hdmi port, optical spdif sound port, very quiet

expanding the memory should be easier to do, without having to open the entire case

The Acer Revo dual core with the Nvidia ion chipset is a really good product. It makes an excellent media player. Just wish there was more availability of the linux version (I don't use windows, though that probably puts me in the minority).

Purchased to use with XBMC. Excellent little unit with loads of connections and feelsvery well made.

The keyboard feels a bit cheap compared to the main unit.

Acer Revo 3600 1G 160GB Linux

Linpus Linux not brilliant, but a great little platform for installing other media centre software on.

Description was for a Revo 3600 with Atom 330 processor, and was supplied with Revo 3610 with 330. However description now changed to Atom 230. I guess Microwarehouse have realised their mistake, and it's not available to buy.

Acer Revo 3600 1G 160GB Linux

Excellent computer and, for the price, an absolute bargain! Don't forget, however, that, except for the extra memory, hdd capacity and WIndows 7, this is actually a 3610 with a dual core Atom, SPDIF output etc. Fast, reliable, dead silent - you don't...

Comes with Linux , only 1GB Sodimm installed (but easily upgradeable to up to 2 X 2GB in dual chanel), no optical drive, HDMI and VGA output only so, if your monitor only accepts a DVI connection, you need to buy an adapter.

Keyboard and mouse a bit cheap! The cuboard will not mind!
