Did not arrive in working order

was cheap

the memory was not installed properly, was not seated on either side. had to void the warranty by opening the case, just to get the new computer running.

ASUS K30AD Desktop PC

To add wireless you either have to use an external USB wireless adapter, or, open the case (see warning) to add a wireless card. If you want to upgrade RAM, space if a bit cramped.

ASUS quality! Good price ($319) for a basic computer, adequate for running most applications. Also, Windows 7 (64-bit) OS is a plus.

WARNING LABEL on rear case states that opening the case voids the warranty! Limited expansion options. Two available mobo slots: one PCIe-x16 and one PCIe-x4. One available slot for an extra HD or SSD. Two RAM slots (one available). No on board wireless.

Loud Pop

seems to work okay

Heard loud electrical pop the first time I plugged it in and turned on; I had the voltage selector set properly and plugged into surge protector. Oddly, the computer seems to work okay despite this, but I do have some uncertainty about whether I fried...

Great office machine...

I like the 300 price, but 350 seems a bit high for such a basic box.

Great office machine when on sale @ 300. Very quiet, and processor handles office chores easily. Has one 4gb memory stick with an empty slot for easy upgrade. PCIe x16 slot if you want to upgrade for light gaming, but 300w power supply would then need...

Only three USB slots on the back is ridiculous!! Your keyboard and mouse will use two (no PS2 plugs)!! Asus could add two more for pennies. No fans, just power supply fan out back. At least there are front and rear mounts for 80mm fans. You can not...

great Intel, 1TB PC for price but not i3

Windows 7 operating system was our main selling point to clients

Everything good except Intel Pentium and video graphics were rated only 4.9; otherwise it is a Microsoft Windows 7 point PC rating.

Poor Video Graphics Microsoft Windows rating
