Won't buy Asus again!

Lenovo is a brand I haven't had problems with and yes I have owned it quite a while, in fact over 3 years! No problems at all!

It was great while it worked! We bought 9/2014 and 5/2015 it breaks. The video card fan went bad. This was a refurb from new egg and the fan on the video card is bad. there is only a 90 day warranty. Had to fix it since it was out of warranty. Got it...

Read under pros. Video card fan broke before the one year mark. I have never had a video card fan break that quick. less than one year. Won't buy asus again

Failed Video Card

By the year end of owning this machine, the video card had died. The monitor would suddenly go into sleep mode when even in the BIOS and boot process. ASUS customer support gladly took it back in and replaced the card free of charge, though it cost us...

Sleek looking case. Great performance, other than the video card

Their video cards went kaput on us, twice

Don't do it!

I have 3 ASUS tablets, and the RT-AC68R router, but I seriously doubt I will EVER purchase (or recommend) another ASUS PC.

I'm happy when it works

Sent in for repairs for the third time in a year. The graphics card was replaced twice, but it feels like a stopgap until my warranty runs out

amazing pc

needs a windows 7 option its way faster on this computer.

Very quiet mine makes no noise at all. high speed i can play all the top of the line games/simulators maxed out gfx with no problems. 300fps. i have windows 7 installed on this machine and its amazing. windows 8 would not play games or simulators well

no eject button on burner have to eject via the menu and has windows 8 installed. easy switch to windows 7 ultimate. have to download windows 7 drivers by looking up the mother board drivers. that's the only pain but way worth it

Available PCI ports?

I do not actual own this item yet, but I love ASUS and can only imagine that this computer will rock as well. I just have a question: Since there are no images of the inside of the tower, it is hard to get a read on how many various card slots are open...

Room for Improvement

Bought this PC primarily for heavy video editing. I can run the full Adobe suite with no problems, and rendering times within Premiere Pro and After Effects CS6 are blazing fast. As far as gaming is concerned, I was able to run GW2, SC2, and Deus Ex:...

16GB stock ram is great, and the 2TB hard drive gives plenty of space for all of my games, music, and video data. The new i7 processor is not a huge difference over the previous ivy bridge generation, but it is nice ; A ton of connectivity options....

The computer is noticeably loud. I would have given it a 4.5 egg rating were it not for this issue. After examining each of the components, I found the biggest problem to be the GPU fan. I temporarily removed it and the noise went back to a...

Okay, not great

I partially bought this computer thinking it would include the Asus Power Pack and Wireless Charger tray. I did not read the fine details on ASUS website that these features only come with special versions of the M51 computer. I bought the most...

Plenty of USB ports and monitor ports. One of the fastest CPUs to date - Intel Core i7 4770. 16GB Ram should be able to handle most things I throw at it. My 8GB Dell XPS handled the video editing fine, so should this. The UEFI bios gui is nice ; I do...

The fans are a little too loud for my liking. The chassis fan by default runs at 1200RPM and the system is about at loud at a running refrigerator or a typical loud customized pc ; I went into the UEFI bios and to my disappointment the ASUS Q-Fan...
