Asustor Nimbustor 2 AS5202T

 

The Asustor Nimbustor 2 AS5202T may be pricey, but this two-bay NAS delivers fast performance and is equipped with top-shelf hardware and loads of apps.

Solid file-transfer performance. Up to 5GbE speeds with link aggregation. Tool-less chassis. 4k video decoding. Good selection of apps.

Pricey. Drives not included. Mobile app has limited management options.

Bottom Line: The Asustor Nimbustor 2 AS5202T may be pricey, but this two-bay NAS delivers fast performance and is equipped with top-shelf hardware and loads of apps.

The AS5202T's dual 2.5GbE performance and agile interface make it a real competitor for the title of best home NAS box.
