Existing printer and scanner not compatible. I cant get the speakers to work, I've had to plug in my old ones. I had to employ a professional to set it up for me. I don't like the drop down screen when I want to switch off, XP was better.

From a "just about computer literate usr" I think my Compaq computer recently purchased is good to look at,very user friendly and does everything I ask it to do well-so it must be a wizard!

The best thing about the desktop is the 19in Monitor that came with it... Connection speed is also good, although it is occassionally slow

Good piece of kit for the money. Bought for parents to use just for e-mail, internet surfing and word processing applications. Perfect.
