Good item by Foxconn.

Foxconn makes good things, and this system was a good buy. Recommended.

This is a good item by Foxconn. I got it and it was a good build. Runs good, looks good, and was pleasant to work on

Avoid this form factor

Do yourself a favor and AVOID this form factor. Go with ATX and a solid power supply. The power supplies fail at an extremely high rate.

None, unless you enjoy fried motherboards and power supplies

I ordered 10 of these a year and a half ago. As of today, 5/10 of them have failed with a blown power supply. This form factor is not standard and it's clear that the power supplies are mostly faulty. Even the replacement power supplies from other...

Ok, While it works

Glad I bought spares, but with no warranty support I will never buy Foxconn again.

It's cheap

PSU fan died in one unit and apparently Foxconn has no aftersales support. I contacted them on their website and they said to call in. I've been calling every day for a week and it rings 3 times and then goes to voicemail. If you call their tech line...

fastest lowest wattage workstation, boot in seconds even from USB

Hope intel continue producing the celeron, it is a must for basic servers, workstations, and routers. Keep in mind this is not for gaming or HDTV, or anything that require digital encoding/decoding. It is best used as file server, router, sniffer, or...

LGA775 seems to be outdated, but with a celeron, it is the greenest, lowest consuming, and relatively the highest efficient machine for all your computation needs. It is more energy efficient even than the atom. While the atom spec showed a smaller...

Great value; possible BIOS issues

After filling out the RMA for what I initially thought was a bad motherboard, New Egg was gracious enough to first accept the RMA. Then, after I discovered the unexpected BIOS setting, I contacted New Egg again to cancel the RMA, which they graciously...

Seems like a clone of the R10-G3, except these items ; 1) Different BIOS ; 2) Different ethernet card ; 3) Different sound card

I have had the very similar Foxconn R10-G3 with much success, which has a Phoenix BIOS. Foxconn opted for American Megatrends BIOS for the R10-G4 for some reason. One issue I had was that when I booted with default settings, everything seemed fine. But...

Stay away if you have actual needs!

the Con's section says it all.

cheap

just one con! and it is HUGE CON for me ; I bought this to be a NAS. Stick it on a shelf and feed it HD's ; Unfortunately, that didnt work. FreeNas likes to format drives on the ZFS filesystem. When I added an internal HD.. worked fine. When I...

first time i got screwwed by Newegg

DOS NOT WORK WITH THIS SYSTEM!!!! Rendition by Crucial 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Desktop Memory Model RM12864AA800 Intel Pentium D 820 Smithfield 2.8GHz 2 x 1MB L2 Cache LGA 775 Dual-Core Desktop Processor PD820280775-R

ok so maybe the product is not bad, but the info from newegg is, and that makes it bad! Newegg clames that this unit will acept any Intel LGA 775 Dual-Core processor but after buying the one listed below (from Newegg) i had a DOA, contacted FOXCONN...

GREAT VALUE

I paired it with Celeron E3400 and 2gb 800 DDR2. I bought a used harddrive. I paid total of $143. It is running beautifully. It is a decent machine. THE blue power button is so pretty and my 2 year old like to press it.

CHEAP and small. IT works! Intuitive and easy to build

PSU fan is loud ; Not DDR3 ; No regular PCI slot ; Basic BIOS ; No overclocking abilities ; The motherboard manual is too basic. Not enough info

Small-ish, Fast and LOUD

It's not as small as I'd expected... even having seen the dimensions and it's SO very loud that I'm just going to sell it or return it. I am going to take a look at the fan in the PSU and see if I have any options, but I'm pretty disappointed with the...

Compact, cheap and very functional for a secondary box. Boots past the bios so fast you barely even see the imagery

The PSU in the one I received is remarkably loud. To be clear, the stock Intel e6300 heatsink and fan, at full blast... is barely even a noticeable difference on boot up. I wanted a smaller, quiet machine to put in my home theater using parts I had...
