Excellent product

I would recommend this purchase to anyone. Carefully review the specifications. If they suit your requirements, this is an excellent choice. I cloned the hard drive onto a 1TB and installed win 10. All is well, no problems - not even teething pains.

Trouble-free set-up Good value for the money Exactly as advertised Microsoft authorized refurbisher, so the computer arrived in like-new condition.

Power supply not upgradeable, limits video card options. Not a problem unless you are a high-end gamer.

Can not be upgraded

Seriously, HP, is this 1992? There is a reason everyone started using universal connections. To make a modern system with a proprietary configuration is inexcusable. I hope someone sees this review and doesn't buy this tower, which is exactly what i...

Cheap

Proprietary power supply that does not use the standard 20+4 design. HP does not sell larger PSUs, nor do they sell anything with a 6+2 connection, even though the board has 2 PCIE sockets (x4, x16). Now i get to have the fun of converting one of the...

Great produdt and great value.

I plan to upgrade to an i7 with more a RAM, someday. I did some research and looks doable for around $100; maybe less on an auction site. It doesn't need it. Don't know why, I just can't leave stuff alone.

Nice PC. It is about 5 years old, however the system is very responsive. I bought it for simple everyday applications. I entered the license key and did the free upgrade to Windows 10. Loaded Office 2013, some OCR software and a few other applications....

Don't have any. Does exactly what I wanted it to do.

Ok for now, i guess.....

The power supply is "not" upgradable...wish I would have studied a little harder first. At least its a 320W... This is a 1st generation i5 using a Q57 Express chipset, LGA1156 socket so you have to be careful which memory you get. G.skill makes a...

3 out of first four had problems

I would approach these with caution! If you are looking to purchase quantities, get a few in first and then confirm before placing the bigger order.

Nice Configuration for the money (if and when they work)

First three of four purchased units had issues - two hard disk drives and then a DVD player. Unfortunately this was before I placed much larger orders! Also, having many issues with getting the Win 7 Image process to work, so I can pre-prep the units...

Up Date

I am overall pretty happy with my investment, and the SSD does add some snap and quite to the overall experience.

OK, Up date. I got this on 1-23-15 and the other two reviews don't match what I have. My machine has a Western Digital Black 2 TB. And I looked at the power supply, and this one was made for this board and has no extra cables what so ever. However, you...

It is an older class of Sandy Bridge, with Direct connect Video (looks like a HDMI but it only carries picture not sound like HDMI ). And the Ram is not the fastest available, and it does not fully support the fastest SATA but it is quite. And seems to...

Greate value

Ordered several of these for replacement machines in a school environment. Machines look like new and run well. Windows 7 Pro install is fresh, with no spyware, etc. Great value for the money

No real cons. The Windows 7 Pro installation was fresh (based on Windows 7 Pro release media) which meant that a few Windows update / reboot cycles were required

Works like a champ

Great price, fast machine

Very old and very noisy Haitachi hard drive - used clonezilla to transfer to new more quiet same size drive. Disappointed on hard drive only. May use the original drive as temporary external drive for long term secondary backup only via hard drive to...
