HP Pavilion A6160A_04

Exuding good looks and occupying only a small footprint on a desk, this Pavilion is perhaps the perfect family PC. Its quad-core CPU means that it wil...

It has a quad-core CPU, it's stylish, it has a media card reader, it has FireWire, it ships with Windows Vista Ultimate edition

It wasn't a quick performer in our tests, it could use a bigger hard drive and more RAM

Overall, this is a well-equipped family PC that's perfect for storing photos, home videos and music. We wish its hard drive was a little bigger, and we also wish it had 2GB of RAM, but it's still more than capable of handling everyday multimedia tasks...

HP Pavilion a6130n

The modestly priced HP Pavilion a6130n ($750 direct) has all the oomph and features found in a high-end multimedia PC, sans discrete graphics card. This desktop PC sits between HP's Slimline s3000 series and its high-end m8000 series in terms of both...

Great bang for the buck. HP Pocket Media Drive Bay. 3GB system memory. Good performance

Ball mouse. Bloatware. Only 60-day Internet Security subscription

The HP Pavilion a6130n is a mainstream system with enough features to keep a serious multimedia hobby going. Digital photos, movies, and music are all within reach.

Good PC with some shortcomings

I've read some reviews of others complaining of overheating issues. I can certainly see how this could be a problem with a powerful graphics card added. I'm running an old Radeon X600 card and a Soundblaster Audigy SE and so far the cooling hasn't been...

Pretty solid features for the money. 2 GB of DDR2-667 memory with an ASUS 6150 MOBO are a nice plus. Large 320 GB hard drive included. After installing a video and sound card in mine it tested 97% to the average of the CPU in PCPitstop.com's full test...

Very substandard 250W PSU for a system this fast. I wouldn't have expected one, but also no 6 pin cable for powering a high end video card. As has been mentioned by other reviewers while possible to upgrade the PSU, it would most likely be beyond the...

HP Pavilion

buy a graphics card with this, u will not be disappointed!also a stronger psu would help alot ;)

Vista run good, pretty powerful cpu's(total of 5.4 Ghz). pretty good trials, symantec security is nice!dowloads drivers most of the time by itself. nice and quiet, runs as if not there

LOW graphic level! not strong enough psu(300 watts and 12v/19A).only the cd/dvd writer makes the most amount of noise(which is really quiet)

Great price, great features, only a 250 watt PSU?

Waiting for the new PSU to try out the video card for more than two minutes. Film at 11 . . . .

Looks great, quiet, a lot for the money. Waiting for my second new power supply (Cooler Master RP-500 had a grinder for a fan, trying Thermaltake this time) to use with this computer plus an 8500GT video card. Vista graphics rating went from a 3.0 with...

HP, how could you put such a whimpy power supply with your computers?!?!?!?!? The average HP buyer probably would not (want to, and or know how to) change a power supply to upgrade the video card

Vista Ready

Basically bought this unit to get a feel for Vista Home premium without fighting upgrade requirements on my AMD 2700+ Of course New Egg had very fast shipping as always, I will continue to do business with them.

Nice setup Vista picked up my wireless Dsl connection. My current printer Lexmark E-210 is not supported or my Vpn agent. No fault of the unit though should have run the Vista advisor ahead of the purchase. The unit came out of the box in a plug and...

One of the USB connection on the rear panel had a bent piece of metal that had disabled all USB connectors. Makes me think it may have been a returned item I had bought which should have been new. After fixing this issue with a small screw driver the...
