Lenovo IdeaCentre K430

With its affordable price tag and good range of features, the Lenovo IdeaCentre K430 gaming desktop is a solid choice.

Affordable. Tool-free chassis makes for easy upgrades. Front-mounted USM socket is a great touch.

No Blu-ray player. Only two USB 3.0 ports. Some bloatware. Strains in higher quality gaming settings.

Lenovo IdeaCentre K430

In a move to gain some ground in the gaming PC market, the Lenovo IdeaCentre K430 brings some serious power and performance to the table. The K430 has an Intel Core i7 CPU, a whopping 12GB of RAM, a 2TB hard drive and discrete Nvidia Graphics. There's...

Brilliant machine, fast, stable and a real work horse. Gaming PC without the price tag! Came with a really nice wireless keyboard and mouse (unexpected) Quiet Room for expansion.

Only bad points would be the pre-loaded software. Windows 8 is so-so but the amount of pointless apps already on the machine is irritating!

Powerful main use photography but some game playing plenty memory and good graphics.

Known software problem causes Windows updates not to configure. Not notified of this had to search firstly MS support as it turned out would have found it in forum on Lenovo support. Either software should be removed or notification of manual upgrade...

Hasn't crashed once - I use it for memory draining software (Adobe suite) Free keyboard and mouse that work perfectly - batteries included :-) Starts up super quickly unless there are updates... Very quiet and looks beautiful!

Windows 8 updates plague me! Also takes 15 minutes or more to install updates. The USB 3 ports in the front are temperamental.

I am very happy with this product. Best value for money with high specification. Very quite. Fast boot. Excellent built in recovery utility by Lenovo. Wireless keyboard and mouse gives very good user experience. Slim & small keyboard makes it look...

This machine comes with windows 8 version and not Pro edition. This is why this machine does not give option to use Hyper-V for IT users. This is not bad point about this machine but this information may help buyer who are new to windows 8. Options:...

- great parameters for graphics programs - nice design - not so noisy when it works - usb slots, microphone and handset in front of the machine

- windows 8 (if I compere with w7) - wireless keybourd with no lights for num lock and caps lock - not easy access to hdmi slot (I have to find hdmi cable with thin plastic around hdmi)

Lenovo IdeaCentre K430-VD68AUK

Powerful Intel processor. Large Hard Drive. Very fast machine. Cooling fan is very quiet, even when the machine is running on maximum power (turbo).

16GB RAM has been installed as 4 x 4GB, leaving no slots free. This means that if you want to upgrade (max 32GB) you have to remove installed RAM. This is very bad planning. The supplied wireless keyboard has a slow response and is fiddly to use. It is...

For its price a very good spec. It performs well. Driver support is reasonable . excellent value.

Win 8 no installation disks and no means of creating them. If your hard drive crashes without a backup you've lost your only issue of win 8.0 The DVD drive physical eject button is covered by the front panel and the second 5.25 bay cover is very...

Lenovo IdeaCentre K430-VD68AUK

Pleased. It does what I expected. It's fast to start up currently. It's very quiet, hardly any fan noise. Wireless keyboard is a bit small for me. I just use a wired one as it feels better and doesn't need batteries.

The graphics card has only VGA and HDMI connectors. No DVI or DisplayPort. Takes a bit of time to remove the pre-installed bloatware. The hard drive is constantly accessed, not worked out why yet. Windows 8 philosophy on searching and also on...
