1080p? Not really MSI 6668-004BUS

While not the most compact unit, the operational noise is very low. I used an SSD. I bought it to run 1080p, because I intended on going the same route as one of the previous reviewers.

Quiet, 2x2GB DIMM support. Easy to open up, take apart, and figure out. The CPU performs great. It's nice that intel gave this dual core hyperthreading. It performs great for a budget CPU. It adds a lot more power to any given situation. This system...

If you want to run 1080p, go elsewhere. I tried using the stock drivers and XBMC +DXVA2 offloading from the install disk (had to transfer via usb) and i was having issues with underscan, rendering 1080p without it skipping heavily. The CPU could handle...

Great Nettop

The other reviews seemed fairly negative but I think there needed to be a good amount of thought prior to purchase. This is a barebones, of course it won't include wireless, HDD, or RAM. Everything else is set. It's not too bad to disassemble, try...

Very low power draw ; Decently upgradeable compared to other nettops ; Having no OS installed is great for price ; Processor is one of the better Atoms out, 64bit dual-core

The picture is misleading to size, it is almost twice the size of some nettops ; Depending on hard-drive used, the case could rattle

Nice little HTPC

Owned this for a one and a half months. 2GB RAM 500GB WD Blue Windows 7 Must use MSI video driver and not AMD/ATI driver or Windows suggested drivers it will mess up to properly enable GPU offloading. I don't know why, it just does, you have been...

XBMC + DXVA2 + This = Awesome ; Been playing around with Darma Beta build and has been able to render 1080p H.264 ; 28 watts idle and no more than 36 watts full CPU load ; Everything with XBMC is too cool ; HDMI with audio output

No Full Linux support yet. Tried the latest ubuntu and fedora builds neither would boot fully; However, some command line only builds do load and work. Pain in the butty to disassemble and reassemble. No Hi-resolution Flash video support yet, struggles...

Contented

Somewhat larger than I expected, but is working fine.

Quiet, low power ; 3.5" drive bay (large capacity)

Must remove motherboard to use 2 DIMMs ; Cannot select video card (the CPU has an Intel GPU on die, but this model can only be used with ATI) ; USB only (no PS/2 mouse/keyboard support) ; 3.5" drive bay (uses more power/noise than a 2.5" drive would)

MSI 6668-004BUS Intel Atom D510 (1.66GHz, dual-core) Intel Socket BGA559 Intel NM10 ATI Radeon HD 4330 1 x HDMI Nettop Barebone

My display is a 21" acer with vga and dvi input. Native res is 1600x900. This monitor has worked flawlessly with several dozen hardware configs over the last couple years. Using the box's analog out, the best resolution I can get is 1280x720, and...

Well built ; Quiet ; Cool ; 2 ram slots ; No need to remove motherboard if installing one ram stick ; Reports 256mb dedicated video ram

Funked up analog display ; Larger than any nettop I've seen ; Screws for mount bracket do not fit my acer monitor

good project base

price (got it while featured discount and free shipping)

case can be a bit frustrating, e.g. small screw securely hard drive bracket is in tight, hard to access space ; definitely breakdown and read the documentation on CD included
