Zotac MAG HD-ND01

Full HD video decoding and gaming are possible thanks to nVidia's ION platform. Don't count this nettop out

The MAG is a complete package that offers attractive pricing, a sleek frame and Full HD video playback.

My second unit

I bought one of these about a year ago for our home HTPC setup. Just bought another and couldn't be happier. This unit actually had a working install CD and after installing Windows 7 32-bit I installed the drivers and everything works great. When ever...

Quiet, small, mounts to back of TV, play HD, plenty of inputs/outputs

None really

Usage=3CX VIOP Phone System

Works- installed Win7Pro. Love the wall mount. Running 3 Channel Sip Trunk without issues

Drivers were a little challanging but came off well

Awsome

GREAT SYSTEM FOR STREAMING TO YOUR TV

EASY TO SETUP, GREAT COST, GREAT PERFORMANCE

THE WIRELESS WORKS GREAT IN MY SITUATION, BUT I SEE HOW SOME FOLK WOULD HAVE ISSUES

Zotac MAGHD-ND01-U Atom Dual-Core 330 NVIDIA ION graphics with 2GB RAM, 160G HDD All-in-One Mini PC

Took the thing apart and removed wireless card as useless. Why a desktop computer or media center should have wireless is beyond me. I'm not running around with a TV set and everything that is connected to it.

Does what it is supposed to do. Works as MythTV frontend, based on Gentoo. Decoding HD video with CPU load less than 30

BIOS upgrade was a necessity, took some fiddling to build a proper FreeDOS image to boot from a USB stick ; BIOS has lots of undocumented options. Best I was able to find on the internet was "these are proprietary options and cannot be explained". Eh

fantastic

Overall I'm blown away. I wasn't expecting such flawless performance from this little machine, but it really gets the job done. Playback through XBMC is as smooth as silk even at 1080p with DTS audio. Best media entertainment investment I've made in a...

It does it all. Running this on my 42" LED via HDMI and it performs flawlessly. Apparently everyone on here complaining about the noise the fan makes has sonic hearing because I have 0 complaints. The thing runs beautifully ; Installed Win 7 Ultimate...

Heat. If anything I'm going to tweak the fan settings so they are higher. It doesn't overheat by any means, but I'd prefer to keep it as cool as possible while running movies ; Wi-Fi. The wi-fi works, but it's extremely weak. I have this thing sitting...

HTPC at its best

Over-all this box is a great performer for the buck! With some time and some tweaking... it will perform well for my intentions. I did not purchase this from Newegg, although Newegg did have a better price (barely), I had all ready committed on another...

Small, attaches to the Vesa Mount screw holes in any newer flat panel tv. Dual core atom, Nvidia graphics, HDMI output. Optical audio output is top notch! better than HDMI in my opinion

Does seem to run a bit warm, but not too warm... over-clocking may be an issue. Maybe mounting it away from back of tv is a better, but less attractive alternative. On board wireless leaves a bit to be desired

Excellent little machine

Quiet, fast and capable. Installed XP Pro from a USB CD and upgraded to Win7 Pro. All the hardware was discovered and drivers were installed. Didn't have to search for any ; Added a 23" Acer monitor with DVI using the HDMI port and an adapter cable....

The Perfect Media Centre

Onboard IR, like some of the other HTPCs, would be a bonus but most remotes have a USB dongle anyway.

Runs XBMC Live, drives 1080p to my 40" TV over HDMI, and doesn't skip a frame. The perfect set top box

Just like everyone else here has said, the wireless card inside sucks to the point where I got 20% reception where a laptop in the exact same position had 90%. The router was only 20 feet away with no walls or other interferences, yet the signal was...

Amazing Performance

I really recommend this to any user wanting to make a media center, i have played a few hours of video with no lag (audio or video) and the machine just runs warm and not hot. I'm assuming my system came with the latest firmware because i have read...

Out of the box this machine performed amazing, i have installed Xbmcfreaks 9.10 v14 standalone media center. With that being said xbmcfreaks live cd installed on the hdd comes with VDPAU installed, alsamixer, drivers, lirc. VDPAU/HDMI video and audio...

Wireless.... It works but it's just not very good for distances longer than 15ft. Had troubles with WPA2 but i'm 95% sure that's my routers fault since my laptop does the same when its set to WPA2
