Kodak EasyShare LS633

While a lot of people will believe that every three mega pixel camera looks the same every so often along comes a camera that is slightly different. Perhaps it's a different shape or maybe has a facility to make cups of tea.

Carries on Kodak compatibility; Good battery and menus

Greens not so great, pictures not the sharpest ever seen

Saving pictures to the internal memory isn’t the fastest thing you’ve seen and beyond the large screen on the back this camera offers little more than every one else on the market at this range. The trouble is, is that everyone else at this level is...

Kodak - EasyShare LS633

Kodak's 3.1-megapixel EasyShare LS633 is the world's first camera to use an OLED display instead of the more traditional LCD display. It's a stylish design offering good features and image quality. The undoubted star of the ...

The amazing screen of the EasyShare LS633 lifts it above the rest of the point-and-shoot crowd of cameras but does make it a fair bit more expensive than many of its competitors. Having said that, it is an impressive match of new technology, easy to...

Kodak EasyShare LS633

Did I mention that the LS633 is also a 3.1 Megapixel camera with a 3X optical zoom Schneider-Kreuznach lens

Usually good photo quality ; Stunning OLED display ; Very easy to use ; EasyShare system allows for easy e-mailing and printing of photos ; Good redeye, macro performance ; Nice playback and movie modes ; Slow shutter mode gives you some flexibility...

Some images look over-processed. -- night shot especially ; No AF illuminator ; No real info in "Picture Info" in playback mode ; Camera needs a few more manual controls: more shutter speed options, manual white balance ; Too easy to accidentally enter...

All in all, the LS633 is a decent camera that the point-and-shoot crowd should take a look at. That is, of course, if they ever sell it here in the States!

Kodak's LS633 boasts a highly impressive OLED display along with a host of other features that should endear it to most consumers. What's more, it's available in Australia before anywhere else on the planet. Check out our Australian review.
