only P&S to feedback focus to you

Recently returned to photography & discovered the delites of P&S zoom cameras...& this Minolta extends my pleasures beyond the others. The other P&S cameras auto index, auto advance, auto-expose, & auto focus with superb results(8 by 10 inch prints are...

Sharp lens takes advantage of sharp focus feedback

Could use similar feedback info about eminent blurring from camera shake

I Love this Camera!

The Minolta Freedom Zone 160 is a great camera! I am the primary photo taker in my family and have used this camera to record our two-years spent traveling across the country in an RV - our photo albums are filled with crisp, clear photos that will...

Love the ease with which you can switch from wide angle to up close

The camera does seem to go through batteries often

Konica Minolta Freedom Zoom 160

I loved this camera at first. Good quality pictures for a p/s, lightweight, and simple to use. A perfect addition to my heavier Nikon with multiple lenses. But I did notice intermittent colorless or dark exposures while using the flash even though...

compact, lightweight, easy to operate

flash inconsistencies, intermittent miserably colored shots, poor quality

Konica Minolta Freedom Zoom 160

I didn't know what to expect from this lightweight little camera from Minolta. I took it to Florida as a back-up to my two digital cameras. I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the shots. The area auto focus is dead-on. I panned along with...

Area auto-focus, spot focus, target focus easy to use and very sharp. Lightweight. Pocketable.

Paint rubs off easily. Oh well...

If you get anything less then super photos from this camera, you're doing something wrong - and that would be difficult since it's so intuitive and easy to use. This is one of the best point and shoots that I've ever used. It's amazingly compact, very...

Small size, build quality, super sharp lens, perfect metering - and it's super quiet.

I haven't found even one.

Konica Minolta Freedom Zoom 160

This is the worst camera I have ever used. Simple, easy to focus, lots of features. Terrible photos! Either out-of-focus, grainy, or the flash didn't work properly. One picture out of 24 was ok.

Small

Couldn't take a decent picture.
