Panasonic DMC LZ3

The Panasonic DMC LZ3 is a cheaper option for anyone looking for a bit of extra zoom. It has twice the standard amount offering 6x zoom. It is much less expensive than many cameras with a longer zoom.

Image stabilisation ; Aspect ratios ; Picture quality ; Longer zoom ; Ease of use

Red eye ; Shutter lag ; Small internal memory

The Panasonic DMC LZ3 is a very effective digital camera. It is one of the few digital cameras around offering increased zoom power (6x) at a reasonable price. This camera is very easy to use and also takes good quality photos.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ5

Optical image stabilization; long-range, relatively fast lens; lots of handy features.

Mediocre performance; cheap build quality; some problems with image quality.

Lackluster image quality and poor performance make the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ3 a disappointment.

Bought primary for image stabiliser and large zoom capability.
