Frequent Repairs & Poor quality

We bought this dishwasher October, 2003. Since then we had to have the motor, main control board (twice), fuse, rinse dispenser and door switch replaced. The cost has approached the cost of a new machine. Some parts were replaced as warranty items. ...

Runs fairly quiet.

Too expensive to have to repair frequently.

A mixed bag

Great Disappointment!

We bought the Whirlpool GU1500XTK on June 13. It's very quiet--at least in comparison to the 8-year old GE dishwasher it replaced--and the loading flexibility is GREAT. You can adjust the height of the top rack, change the dividers in the lower rack...

Relatively quiet, excellent capacity and versatility in loading

Doesn't clean well! Long wash cycles.
