These Audio-Technica headphones bring flat, studio quality sound for less

 

Audio-Technica's more affordable studio headphones still hold up years later.

Flat sound profile for recording ; More affordable than other studio headphones ; Lightweight and portable ; Comes with a 1/8 to 1/4 inch adapter

Long cable isn't ideal for non-studio uses ; Cable isn't detachable ; Stiff ear pads

The Audio-Technica ATH-M30x is an affordable option for studio headphones, ideal for musicians, producers and podcasters.

The Audio-Technica M30X have a surprising amount of audio fidelity for their price range but have a poor soundstage because of their closed-back design. They perform above-average for neutral listening but may lack a little openness.

Decent headphones

 

Newegg is #1 ... what else needs to be said?

Love the long cord as well as ear coverage

sound is rather weak and distorted when increasing volume (especially with bass). Have a pair of Pioneer heaphones I ordered from Newegg a while back, they were less expensive and honestly outperform these

A great deal for the price

 

They are compact and get the job done for much less than what I should have paid for them.

Got these at half off, about $50. For this price is a complete steal ; The sound is what you'd expect for (the original price of) $120. I would recommended them for anyone who needs quality for lite usage

These are closed, over-ear headphones. Meaning they sit on your ears, not 'around' your ears ; Because of this, long sessions can make your ears a little sore, but this is not a negative for me really

If you do like really loud bass, I wouldn't suggest getting the M30s. But if you're like me and don't like it, these are great. But don't worry, the bass isn't quiet, it's just not overly loud like with some other kinds of headphones. Also, note that...

These are not the best headphones ever made, but they are definitely amazing considering their price ; They are lightweight, not too heavy on the bass, comfortable, not too expensive, durable, and have good sound quality. The sound doesn't get...

The earpads will be the first things to deteriorate, especially if you're rough with them. I'd recommend replacing them with SRH440 earpads if and when they fall apart ; The straight cable is a bit annoying at times. It's nice to have a really long...

Great Headphones for the price!

 

If your on the fence, I'd defiantly buy. You can't find headphones this nice in this price range.

If you like to listen to Music but don't want to shell out the cash to buy the $100+ headphones, but tire of the Iheadphones or skullcandy quality (or lack of), these are for you

Strait cable can get annoying sometimes, would have preferred a coiled one, but at this price range that is a minor complaint

Great headphones!

 

Those audio-freaks who spend $500 on headphones might not like these, but they are my favorite headphones

Great sound quality. I hear things in these headphones that I never knew existed in the music I have listened to for years. Comfortable around the ears and head. Very long cable

Just a tad bit heavy for hours-long gaming (I am not an audiophile)
