Creative Aurvana DJ Headphones

Unlike several years ago, if you're a music lover looking to purchase a pair of headphones these days you're spoiled for choice. Where once you could ...

Deep bass, surprising highs

Mid range very harsh, lacks clarity and tightness, fatiguing during long listening sessions

While these headphones are decent for bass heavy music their harsh, bloated mid range makes instrumental music difficult to listen to.

Creative Aurvana DJ Headphones

DJs are like shamans to a hungry tribe of young partygoers; the latter wants only one thing: killer music, thumping beats, articulate breaks, and other adrenalin-spewing forms of energy. It's understood that the job of a DJ is as difficult as anything...

At Rs 8000, these are expensive. Drop Rs 2500 and the product would be worth it. Further, I don't like the high frequency response. Sound timing and bass response are very impressive though; so enthusiasts and DJs who have the cash might want to try...

Review: Creative Aurvana DJ

If you're just getting into DJ-ing and audio production, the world is probably passing you by. You're seeing sound cards and software and all sorts of gadgets. Well if no one's told you yet, you're going to need a pair of headphones you can trust....

My ears are happy

I have read some reviews that people were complaining about the hardiness of these headphones. I haven't owned them long so I guess time will tell, but my initial impression is they are quite stout and well made. I don't plan on doing anything crazy...

So far so good! I just received these headphones and wow! I didn't know what I had been missing. The sound quality is amazing, and the earpieces are very comfortable

None so far

Stylish - nothing special

The headphones look very nice and they have a very clear sound but i gave it a 3 - overall rating because it lacks the base which we all love :-/ definitely worth 40 dollars, not a penny more. I would definitely not classify these as DJ Headphones!

Very Stylish and sturdy (so far)

Lacks base

Creative Aurvana DJ 3.5mm/ 6.3mm Connector Circumaural Stereo Headphone

My 10 year old Sony MDR-V6 headphones suit my needs much better then these and have a much better dynamic range. The only thing I liked better about the Creative headphones was the isolation.

I was impressed with the Initial examination of the design. The audio cable is of decent thickness and comes out of just one side of the headphones which is a plus. Decent headphones have a coily cord as this one does too. Isolation from outside sound...

As a DJ, I like a good dynamic range and I didn't feel I got that with these. They had kind of a hollow sound with empasis on the bass frequencies. Left/Right pivoting of each headphones doesn't have enough play. 1/4" adaptor is snap on rather then...

Solid Headphones

If you are the kind of person that wants a good sounding set of headphones that don't make you look like a goofball while you wear them...you might want to give these a try.

I think these are pretty solid headphones. I wouldn't pay the advertised price, but if you can snag them for 40 or so like the other reviewer said i think that is a pretty fair price. They are a little better then the Sennheiser HD202's...but they sure...

You could definitely find a better sounding/more comfortable set of headphones than these
