Grado SR60i review

Some new features are incorporated into an old favourite

Very comfortable ; Impressive definition for the price ; Highly recommended

Treble and midrange have some signs of coloration

Tonality is admirable in the bass and lower midrange, while detail and definition are very impressive for the price. Comfort is much improved over the older Grado models. Upper midrange and treble still show some coloration, though one soon becomes...

Grado SR60i review

The Grado SR60i headphones may be remarkably similar to their predecessors but they manage to be even better

Hugely accomplished sound in all respects ; built to last

Older-than-old-skool looks ; leaky at volume ; the SR80is are even better

If your budget stops at £100, these are the best headphones around

Grado SR60i review

When we reviewed Grado's SR60 headphones four years ago they were one of the best pairs we'd ever heard. The revised SR60i remain as resolutely old-school as their predecessors, with dated styling and a thick cable. The open-backed design means they...

Not suited to noisy environments, but fantastic sound quality makes them worth the expense.

Grado SR60i review

Retro-tastic looks and a budget price. There's much to like about these on the face of it – so, how do the SR60is sound?

Headphones listening is an intimate experience, so make the most of it with these

Grado Prestige Series SR-60i review

Grado Prestige Series SR-60i

Retro-styled, over-the-ear model; sounds swell with portables; big bass; lively sonics.

Not the slickest-looking or most comfortable 'phones you can buy.

Grado's cheapest headphones belt out big sound with pint-size portable audio devices.

Grado SR60i Headphones Review

Grado SR60i Review The Grado SR60 was first introduced to the world almost 20 years ago (1993-1994). The SR60 was known to be one of the best open headphones that delivered amazingly clear and detailed sound despite the affordable price tag.

Grado SR60i Headphones Review

Open back headphone

Excellent sound quality ; Solid build ; Light overall weight and good cable jacket help comfort

Massive noise leakage ; Can become slightly uncomfortable after long periods ; Looks a matter of personal taste

Grado SR60i Headphones

The Grado SR60i feature the traditional open back design which helps stop the bass from distorting at higher volumes.

These headphones are built to last and have truly accomplished sound in all respects

The open back design leaks sound and the quirky, odd ball style doesn’t make these headphones very attractive

The update from the SR60 to the SR60i is respectable and a significant improvement. However, the quirky design certainly makes these headphones a potential fashion hazard. Nonetheless, the sound quality is beautiful.
