Review of Sennheiser PX100 headphones

With a hinged headband, these lightweight headphones can be folded up and stowed away in their hard carry case. Audio quality is excellent, with natural, detailed sound and good bass levels and they kept out external noise fairly well. There are soft...

Sennheiser PX100 Headphones Review

Having an iPod or another brand MP3 player is great, but it normally goes without saying that the bundled headphones aren't normally the best. A decent upgrade need not set you back lots of money, so here I take a look at the Sennheiser PX100 headphones.

The PX 100 are an excellent set of portable headphones that would be ideal to those who travel constantly and require a comfortable set of quality sounding headphones.

Truly Portable, Includes a Plastic Carry Case for storage/travel, Above average sound quality, Comfortable for Long Periods of use, Perfect Length cord

Silver metal strip doesn’t look fashionable, A little pricey compared to other options

Sennheiser PX 100-IIi Headset (Black) review: Sennheiser PX 100-IIi Headset (Black)

Sennheiser PX 100-IIi Headset (Black)

The lightweight ; improves on an earlier design with reinforced hinges for extra durability, an in-line remote, and single-sided cabling for tangle-free transportation and storage in the included carrying bag.

A prevalent midbass hump muddies the low-end spectrum and adds misplaced sonic weight for music with homophonic melodies, such as classical and jazz.

Despite their lightweight structure, the Sennheiser PX100-IIi headphones are surprisingly powerful, and we recommend them for travelers, students, and anyone else shopping for new open-backed headphones.

Sennheiser PX100

The PX100 is an affordable middle ground between pesky earbuds and chunky headphones.

Comfortable and lightweight. Excellent audio performance for price.

Supra-aural (on-ear) design means sound can leak out; might not be a good choice for the office. Large, bulky carrying case.

Sennheiser PX100

On-the-ear miniheadphones; rugged, collapsible design; hard plastic storage case; two-year warranty.

May be a bit too sweet-sounding for listeners who prefer a harder edge.

The PX100 is a good choice for travelers seeking a compact headphone design.
