Sound is excellent on these, the best iteration of the EX7x series. These have been the most reliable headphones I've had in ages too, having actually outlasted the warranty! Top Class.

sound is not as good as previous sony headphones. really lacking bass. sound is otherwise clear but i prefer my old sony x-bass pair (which were ironically cheaper!)
