Consumer review (newegg.com)

Not a good product.

Oregon Scientific isn't in the Heart Rate monitor buisness, I will go with a company that specializes in them like Polar.

Newegg has a good return policy.

Tap function does not work. Heart rate jumps irratically, so the calories consumed is not accurate. When you pull your arm back when running, walking, etc, it looses transmission contact with the strap. The strap totally stopped transmitting after one...

returned

It's one of the cheapest heart rate monitors out there. Newegg shipped it to me really fast.

The main reason I returned the item was that it didn't read my heart rate accurately/stably. I used it twice on the road and once on a treadmill. The numbers (heart rate) kept jumping ranging from 60 to 220. If the heart rate doesn't provide accurate...

FINE CONTRAPTION

Regardless of "Cons" above, I enjoy using it, it really works well. I would recommended to friends. Newegg rocks again !!

Works as advertised; displays more than some ( highly priced) popular brands; Wireless link works fine. Adjusted belt seats well on chest. Initial blank screen does not mean dead battery - manual suggests pressing any two buttons for a few seconds, to...

NOT MENTIONED in the manual: If the watch bottom cover gets installed in the wrong position (180 degrees opposite), beeper and "TOL" function CAN NOT work, because springs must touch (firmly) certain spots on piezoelectric element (built into the...

Works Good

the cost of two cr2032 batteries raises the price of this unit to that of a brick n' morter store. The display is visible through the packaging so i reccomend that newegg visiually inspects these items as they pull them off the shelf. No display means...

I does what it says....nice to get that out of a product for a change :-P

Oregon Scientific SE102

The numbers on the watch seem to be a couple of beats off of what the machines I have been working out on say.

1)$$$ 2)works as advertises 3)I have not had any equipment not work.

1)The watch could be more comfortable 2)The chest belt gets a little squirrelly after a while of high activity. It may have to do with lots of sweat.

Okay Watch

You're suppose to put the plastic thing in the middle of your chest, i thought it was suppose to go above your heart but its not.

Starts monitoring heartbeat fairly quickly when chest piece is attached to your chest. Has a timer, tells you the date, tells you the time! Has a light for seeing in the dark. And some other functions that i probably don't need. Can display two...

Takes too long to reset the timer. Scratches easy, I move around a lot but the screen has a scratch after the first, but its no biggie. I don't really notice it.
