FYI

The retail price of a 128 GB SSD 1.8" harddrive may have been 1000$ at the time Sony manufactured this. However, you can find them below 350$ here on this site. Your best bet may be to buy an average 200$ netbook with a 11" and 160GB harddrive screen...

128 GB SSD & smaller than average 8" size

Vastly overpriced for perfomance of the machine ; The Intel Z530 processor produces performance on the level of an outdated Intel Penitum 3 or early Intel Celeron or so ; They've installed an underpowered battery, so you're left with 4 hours battery life

The price isn't too ridiculous

If money is no object, and you wanted a netbook that was as portable as a smartphone but at the very LEAST had twice the power of any spec on a smartphone, this would be it. But very few fortunate people fall into that category.

Why does this cost so much when it has the same specs as all the other netbooks ; Because it DOESN'T have exactly the same specs ; Huge diffrence: 128GB SSD ; Which in turn makes it 1/2 to 1/3 the weight of a regular notebook ; Higher resolution LED...

Price of course, size may be too small for some

WHAT?

Just buy from asus

So your saying that you would rather pay 1000 for an internal verizon network connection than get the free usb adaptor that verizon has and buy a <$400 netbook from asus that functions just as good if not better
