Attractive brushed-metal chassis; top-tier CPU; decent battery life for a performance system.

Limited support hours; only one battery option.

While not as impressive as Velocity Micro's desktop systems, the NoteMagix L80 Ultra is still a reasonably priced alternative to high-end Dell and Alienware laptops.

This performance-driven laptop is all business on the outside, but there's serious power beneath the suit and tie.

Fast processor. Runs cooler than other Core 2 Duo laptops.

Springy keyboard. Noisy mouse buttons. Underwhelming battery life. Not your typical boutique-vendor look.
